Please note: The check-in for the HochLeger Chalet Refugium on the mountain is located in our DasPosthotel, Rohrerstraße 4, 6280 Zell am Ziller!

Check-in takes place at our sister hotel DasPosthotel in Zell im Zillertal - only 7.7 km (approx. 13 minutes) from the HochLeger Luxury Chalet Resort.

In Austria, winter equipment is mandatory for cars in the period from November 1 to April 15 of the following year. During this period, cars may only be driven in winter driving conditions if winter tires are fitted to all four wheels or snow chains are fitted to at least two drive wheels (snow chains are only permitted if the road is completely or almost completely covered with snow or ice).

Snow chains are compulsory on the mountain road to HochLeger - Chalet Refugium am Berg, except for cars with four-wheel drive.

Coming from Switzerland: highway A12 direction Salzburg - exit ZILLERTAL
Coming from Germany: A8 highway towards Innsbruck - exit ZILLERTAL

After 20 km turn off at the Zell Nord exit - 800 m further on you will reach the DasPosthotel. There you check in for your vacation at the Hochleger Luxury Chalet Resort.

We recommend to our guests that they enjoy an eco-friendly journey here by train. You will find the station for the Zillertalbahn line right next to the ÖBB railway station in Jenbach. Hop aboard for a comfortable ride to the station in Zell/Ziller. Simply let us know prior to your arrival if you would like to be picked up, and our ZillerSeasons shuttle bus, which will take you to boutique hotel DasPosthotel in Zell for free, will be awaiting you at the train station in Zell am Ziller. At boutique hotel DasPosthotel we check you in to the HochLeger Luxury Chalet Resort.

After your check-in at DasPosthotel, we will be happy to take you directly to HochLeger - Chalet Refugium am Berg with our ZillerSeasons shuttle at a price of 40. Please reserve this service directly after your booking.

The nearest airports are Innsbruck (60 km), Munich (189 km) and Salzburg (163 km). From there, your can book our ZillerSeasons shuttle service to bring you to the check-in point of the HochLeger Resort - Boutique Hotel DasPosthotel in Zell/Zillertal for a fee.
