Hiking tip

Olperer Hut

One of the most famous Instagram photo spots in Tyrol, or perhaps in the entire Alpine region, is the suspension bridge at Olpererhütte. Insta-hype aside, not only the bridge itself but also the hut and the breathtaking view are simply spectacular and definitely worth a visit! The hike to Olperer Hut starts directly from the parking lot of Schlegeis Reservoir and is estimated to take about 1.5 hours. Length & altitude: 6.2 km, approximately 590 meters ascent and descent.
