Is smoking permitted in the chalets or TreeLofts?
Smoking is permitted on terraces and balconies, but it is prohibited by law to smoke inside the chalets and TreeLofts. The HochLeger Chalet Refugium on the mountain is a non-smoking resort.

Is it allowed to bring my pet? Is there a dog sitter at HochLeger Chalet Refugium?
Yes, your four-legged friends are very welcome. The fee is 40 per night (without food). If desired, we can arrange a dog sitter. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the TreeLofts!

Does the resort offer an internet connection?
When you check in at the sister hotel DasPosthotel, you will receive the access code for the free WiFi, which is available throughout the resort.

Does the HochLeger Chalet Refugium offer allergy-friendly bed linen?
All our bed linen is particularly suitable for allergy sufferers.

Is there a selection of pillows or a pillow menu that I can choose from?
At the HochLeger Chalet Refugium on the mountain we offer an exclusive pillow menu. You can find more information on our homepage, in our guest folder or ask at reception.

Does the resort offer a laundry, ironing and dry cleaning service?
Of course, our laundry, ironing and cleaning service is at your disposal! This service is offered in our sister hotel DasPosthotel.

Is there a room for storing luggage?
You are welcome to use the luggage room in our sister hotel DasPosthotel in Zell am Ziller.

Are children allowed to stay overnight in the TreeLofts?
The TreeLofts are designed for two people and there is no option for an extra bed. However, 1 adult and 1 child are welcome to stay in the TreeLofts.

Is it possible to arrange flowers as a gift?
We are happy to arrange flowers as a gift for you. Our reception is always available to assist you. There is a charge of 10 for this service.

Is there an electric car charging station at the HochLeger Chalet Refugium?
In our sister hotels in Zell am Ziller there are three charging stations in the DasPosthotel and in MalisGarten there are 16 charging options available.

Does the HochLeger Chalet Refugium have a fitness room?
The HochLeger - Chalet Refugium on the mountain does not have its own fitness room, but you are welcome to use the fitness room in our sister hotel DasPosthotel in Zell am Ziller. Use is at your own risk and is available on request. There you will find high-quality equipment from Matrix Fitness, including a bicycle ergometer, rowing ergometer, treadmill, functional training tower, dumbbells and an adjustable weight bench.

Is there a church service in the area?
Catholic services are held regularly in the parish church in Aschau im Zillertal and in the deanery parish church in Zell am Ziller. Our reception will be happy to provide you with information about mass dates.

Is it possible to borrow a charger for my cell phone at the HochLeger chalet resort?
We are happy to provide you with various chargers for cell phones free of charge during your stay. These are available at reception in our sister hotel DasPosthotel.

When is the earliest time I can move into my chalet or TreeLoft and is it possible to arrive earlier?
Your chalet or TreeLoft is available from 3.00 pm. We are happy to offer you the option of an early check-in at a price of 28 per person. Subject to availability.

Where do I check in at the HochLeger Chalet Refugium on the mountain?
Check-in for the HochLeger Chalet Refugium takes place at our sister hotel DasPosthotel in Zell am Ziller. There you will receive your room card and all important information about your stay.

When can I start using the spa area?
All the amenities in the HochLeger Chalet Refugium are available to you free of charge from the time of room occupancy. If you would like to enjoy our spa before your arrival, you are welcome to book this at a price of 28 per person.

Until what time can I use the chalet or TreeLoft on the day of departure?
You have the option of staying in your chalet or TreeLoft until 11.00 am on the day of departure. If you would like to extend your stay, no problem - we will be happy to arrange a late check-out for you at a price of 28 per person, subject to availability.

What is the best way to get from the airport to the HochLeger Chalet Refugium on the mountain?
We are happy to organize an airport shuttle for you. Please book this in good time at reception.

How do I get to the HochLeger Chalet Refugium by car?
Arrival by car
Coming from Switzerland: highway A12 direction Salzburg - exit ZILLERTAL
Coming from Germany: A8 MÜNCHEN direction Innsbruck - exit ZILLERTAL.
After 20 km turn off at the Zell Nord exit - 800 m further on you will reach our sister hotel DasPosthotel for check-in, from DasPosthotel drive towards Aschau and you will reach the HochLeger - Chalet Refugium on the mountain in approx. 15 min. -
Does the Chalet Refugium offer a shuttle service?
Yes, we are happy to provide you with a shuttle service. We recommend that you book this in good time at reception.

Is parking available at the HochLeger Chalet Refugium on the mountain?
Yes, at the HochLeger Chalet Refugium on the mountain there are two parking spaces for each chalet and one parking space for each TreeLoft.

Is it necessary to use snow chains to get to the HochLeger - Chalet Refugium on the mountain?
In Austria, winter equipment is mandatory for cars in the period from November 1 to April 15 of the following year. During this period, cars may only be driven in winter driving conditions if winter tires are fitted to all four wheels or snow chains are fitted to at least two drive wheels (snow chains are only permitted if the road is completely or almost completely covered with snow or ice).
Snow chains are compulsory on the mountain road to HochLeger - Chalet Refugium am Berg, except for cars with four-wheel drive.

Is there a doctor or medical care in the area?
Yes, you will find doctors in the immediate vicinity, around 4 kilometers away in Aschau and around 9 kilometers away in Zell am Ziller.

Is there a pharmacy in the immediate vicinity of the Chalet Refugium on the mountain?
The nearest pharmacies are in Stumm (approx. 8 km) and in Zell am Ziller (approx. 9 km).

What should I do if I unexpectedly fall ill while on vacation?
Please do not hesitate to contact our reception! We are always at your disposal and will be happy to arrange a doctor's appointment for you.

Do you need medical assistance or the emergency services?
Please do not hesitate to contact our reception at any time. We are always ready to assist you, be it in organizing a doctor's appointment or in an emergency by contacting the emergency services on 144.

What payment options are available for paying for the chalet or TreeLoft?
Your deposit will be deducted in full from the hotel bill.
Please pay the hotel bill on arrival or transfer the amount in advance. Within the EU and from EEA countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) you can make SEPA transfers in euros without additional charges. Transfers from Switzerland can be made to our Swiss account.

Until when is it possible to cancel my chalet or TreeLoft?
Cancellation fees are calculated as follows:
from confirmation of reservation up to 31 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the total amount will be retained as a cancellation fee.
30 to 08 days before date of arrival: 80 % of the total amount will be retained as cancellation fee
From 07 days before date of arrival or in case of early departure: Cancellation fee 100 % of the total amount.

Is it possible to make a reservation without providing a credit card guarantee?
You are also welcome to pay your deposit by bank transfer.

What is the best way to get to the Zillertal Arena ski area?
From HochLeger you can go directly to the "Ski Optimal Hochzillertal" piste in the valley, from there you can take the train to Zell am Ziller, where you can take the ski bus to the Zillertal Arena. If you go down into the valley, you can also take the bus instead of the train to the Kaltenbach - Hochfügen ski area or continue by train to Mayrhofen.

Where can I hire skis and ski boots?
Our reception will be happy to advise you! We recommend our long-standing partner Intersport Strasser with its store right next to our sister hotel DasPosthotel and in the Zillertal Arena valley station. ZillerSeasons guests receive -10% discount on ski rental, ski depot and ski service!

Is there a ski bus? When does the ski bus run and where is the bus stop?
Take advantage of the free ski bus connection Aschau - Kaltenbach - Hochzillertal. From HochLeger you can reach the ski slope in just a few minutes on foot. The Aschau valley run takes you to the village, where you can board the ski bus directly to Kaltenbach.
The nearest bus stop is called "Mizun" and is just a few minutes' walk from the HochLeger Chalet Refugium. -
Is it possible to go tobogganing in Zell am Ziller?
Yes, the longest floodlit toboggan run in Austria is just a 20-minute drive away in Hainzenberg.

Can you go cross-country skiing in the Zillertal?
Yes, if there is enough snow, there are many wonderful cross-country ski trails.

Do you offer guided ski days?
Twice a week there are guided tours through the ski areas in the Zillertal with our ski guide. More information can be found in the weekly program.

Is it possible to rent a bike on site?
Yes, you can hire a mountain or city bike free of charge from our sister hotel DasPosthotel.

Is it possible to hire an e-bike on site?
E-bikes in various sizes are available at Intersport Strasser at the valley station of the Zillertal Arena. We recommend reserving your desired e-bike in advance.

Can you play golf nearby? Is there a golf course nearby?
Yes, the 18-hole Zillertal Golf Club in Uderns is just 12 km away. As our guest, you benefit from a discount, which you receive directly at the golf course. You also have the option of purchasing the Golf Tirol Card.

Is there a planned hiking program or a weekly program for activities?
Yes, at the ZillerSeasons our guests enjoy a wide range of activities every week as part of the weekly and hiking program.

Does the HochLeger Chalet offer guided hikes?
Yes, guided hikes are offered. Our certified mountain hiking guide will lead you to your own personal "hiking hot spots" and show you unique natural spectacles and viewpoints with a special character!

The alpine breakfast included in the price can be enjoyed daily at the MartinerHof, which is located right next to the chalets and TreeLofts.

The HochLeger MartinerHof serves breakfast daily from 7.30 to 10.30 am.
